FREE BEER...NEED A HAND IN SUGARLAND!!!

Ok, this is embarrassing but you gotta do what you gotta do! If there is anyone that knows what they are doing with stator and reg./rec. test, and are in the Sugarland area, and will work for ice cold beer (of your choice of course), that will give be a hand getting my BI$$H up and running, I would absolutely appreciate it . Yes, obviously I'm not handy with the tools, but I will do the work.

The bike: 2004 RSVR
The Problem: Running like ... cutting out at 4000 rpm

I have already done the brown connector delete and I bought a new stator (wrong one but I've been told I can use it). Oh ya, the bike is on a lift (forklift ) and I have a good multimeter but limited tools (Not very handy with em remember?), stator is pulled off the bike, along with all the fairings of course. Just roll up grab a beer help me out, then.... I CAN FINALY EFFIN GET BACK ON...DAAMMMIT!!!

PM ME IF INTERESTED IN HELPING ME OUT...ONCE AGAIN I WOULD APPRECIATE THE HELP.

I see you have a DVOM, do you have the factory service manual? who told you to buy a Stator by the way? It might be the R/R is your R/R the MOSFET or Thyristor type? You should really look into this as you may only need to upgrade to a simple MOSFET type RR and can return the Stator or simply sell it and avoid splitting your case open.

You must of been drunk when you read the post..."If there is anyone that knows what they are doing with stator and reg./rec. test", was in the details. But hey, I have a beer to spare anyway, just none o that scratchin going on. Never have minded good company... However, if you know what your doing that's a plus because I dam sure don't.
