As my wife just told me...

Negative people need drama like oxygen. Stay positive, it will take their breath away.

I only know Mike to be totally cool with Kris and the rest of our race team. Surely not his doing.

While you may have an opposing feeling about the subject and have a hard time stating your reasons other than calling him a jealous , I can assure you that the manner in which you handled the situation speaks volumes about the brawp racing group and has members grabbing for their wallets to donate money to you.

Do yourself a favor and train yourself in handling public affairs that pertain to not just yourself, but a group of people that you are a spokesperson for, and I can only assume the feedback will be much more positive.

Now onto the last subject. If you would like to give me your number and meet in person to further hash-out this quandary, I can with most certainty tell you that this meeting will not end with you feeling like a victor.
Kris has done a great job racing whatever he has had the opportunity to race. He has won sprints and endurance races on sub-par equipment. Now that he has an opportunity to race a rarer breed of bike, at a higher level, with support from the manufacturer and dealer, he should. Will he win anything? Probably not anytime soon. Does he have the potential? I'm his best friend and I think maybe, maybe not. Have I seen him ever finish slower than anyone else back to back on the same bike, ever? No. Has he qualified for both AMA rounds on a stock bike with limited mods, with minimal practice time due to crashes, on two tracks basically new to him, with a 10 - 15 MPH top speed deficit? Yes. Did he finish back of the pack? Yes. Will I help him achieve his dreams of giving it a shot? Sure. Why not. Who else do I know that is giving it their all? A few. And I support them as well. All this negativity is no fun.

Ryan is not a member of BRAWP. Not that it matters. We're gonna do what we do, bring new people to racing, support good people who have heart for the sport. Hang out with friends and enjoy life together with motorcycling an important theme. Ryan is a friend of Kris and the BRAWP team. But for the record, he works with Ridesmart (ducking and running, lol). And to correct you, he's probably not a kocksucker.

RacerX kinda deserves whatever anyone throws his way. He poops on everything. And he always expects people to disagree. But, he does have a lot of valid arguments playing devil's advocate. But with a post count of 1 you probably didn't know that yet.

And I would guess no one is saying they want to meet and fight you, whoever you are. That's schoolyard fun. There are no victors when words turn to violence.

Meeting in person is to use speak words because if someone wants to call me anything they can do to my face. I don't feel like having to take the time to be all gramatically correct! I much rather discuss things like this in person because things get outta context...

Halffast and Brawp are like brothers to me! Brawps have a way of doing things and halffast tries to be the motar to help people see that we need to build this sport together. If we do it together it will build it quicker, and maybe help people stay in the game longer. We all love watching and supporting!

Yeah I work for Ride Smart and Kris works for FL. Look what we are trying to do! Healthy competition and fun all in the same group!

Im donating not on the basis of how Great he is at racing, Im donating bc he's a friend on a venture.

For a company to donate, they tend to believe the sponsored will bring "business" back to them. (advertising and what not)

For a normal everyday friend, I want nothing in return. I just want my sponsored to get there, have fun, do what he enjoys.

Good Luck Kris!! Youve gone further than most of us, keep going!

you must be one of the peasants affiliated with raising money for this lost cause...keep up the good work, maybe one day you'll be promoted to umbrella girl.[/QUOTE]

Man,
Most of us here don't know you. Therefore, my assumption of you might be totally wrong, and as in many cases, people are different in person. However, based on your writing, you are a total that talks first, and thinks later.
First, you don't call someone that is old enough who has gone through maybe more than you in life a "Kid". You don't know Kris, and calling him that means you already have some issue with him.
There is always a reason behind a decision. You should have researched first before commenting on it. And again you showed how you assess your opinion purely on your own speculation just because you saw the words MV. That shows your character. That you talk first, and think later, or maybe don't even care to think.
Everyone has a dream. Some people just dream it, and some have the to actually live it. Kris, despite numerous challenges, is in the process of making that dream come through. Got the MV not becuase he had the money, but because there are special reasons behind it that you don't know. Where manufaturer, incentive and support, and future project come in place. You talk about his performance, and again, you don't know half the story. People spend serious money and especially time to get the bike tuned to race at AMA level. Kris is racing with the bikes that are in the process of being tuned and developed to be apar with his competitors, and still qualified.
You even made a derogatory statement about the BRAWP. I challenge you to find anyone or any group out there who had done more and UNCONDITIONALLY to help track riders or racers, noobs or old, more than the BRAWPs.
Know it before saying it.

"1stgearwheelie" is either actively avoiding checking the thread, or is cringing with each new post.

Anyway, I'd rather be the last person in a competitive race than the "fast" one in a weak race. CMRA is a racing club, with people who are predominately sponsoring themselves or count among their sponsor people who gave them discounts. AMA on the other hand has people who don't have to pay a dime for their bike or into their bike, a team of people who maintain the bike with very high tech equipment and some riders who even collect a salary (via sponsorships mostly). And the purses are in the thousands of dollars (compared to CMRA where it's hundreds).

So, hopefully "1stgearwheelie" isn't too stubborn to admit he didn't understand what he was commenting on and will hopefully meet Kris in person one of these days and realize what is being accomplished.
