do not rattle can primer it will make the "good stuff" fish eye. it wont stick to rattle can paint.

If you have the equipment I can help show you bud. I used to paint as a part time living some years ago. It is pretty easy if you have everything prepped well. Alrova is close to my area of town as well. He knows a few things as well.

ya, i have the compressor, a never-been-used NIB hvlp gun, $100 in ppg shopline , strainers, mixing sticks, cups, mineral spirits, beer, food, hmmm...probably a ton of other , just no know-how...i'll finish up on all the prep work this weekend probably and have it ready for priming for next weekend...i don't even know how to use this gun...

We used the higher end rattle can stuff and made sure the pieces where well cleaned before hand. It should get us by just fine for some crappy track bikes. :icon_bigg

do you have a regulator and dryer for your compressor?

usely the regulator and dryer are in series with each other or may be a single unit but check what you have because you will not want to paint with out a dryer inline.

the compresor only has a regulator, not dryer and doesnt trap anything. YOu need another one, harbor freight is your friend.
