Too bad Pluckers can't close down their lot for the night and host a bike night! Best wings in town and a huge parking lot! Can't please everyone Ivan, so give it a shot and see what happens. If it sucks we castrate you! J/K!

Im up for a change of venue but honestly, Ill go anywhere (for central meet)
Ill go...but I might not order food/drinks if their service is slow.

I really liked Freebirds the best. Quick food n drinks, endless clean parking. Everyone was basically outside, forced to mingle in one area. =]

Hey!! How about:
- Mission Burrito/Amy's Ice Cream on 59n and Sheperd?
They have outside seating, a decent parking lot. Across the street is Star Pizza, Whataburger and 59 Diner. One Stop Shop. lol. They close at 10pm though. Not sure how theyll feel about slow races since theyll need the spots for other patrons but my friend owns the SouthBeach Auto Spa across the street. Thats enough for slow races. I dunno. Just a spot/idea. The alchis wont like this idea too much since there wont be liquor, only beer and maybe margaritas.

- Diablo Loco Galleria- clean parking lot, 2 bars, ample seating
- Woodrows in midtown. Huge patio but theyre pretty busy on Wednesdays for their steak night
- Why not Kung Fu? They have desirable parking and on Wed at 8p, they barely have any business. Even at 11p place is barely 33% capacity. (we would be out of there by then)

Outlaw Dave's to Winston's on Washington would be perfect. Or, Refinery to Dogtown.

Ivan should be good at organizing this, he's a critical-masshole, ride-eat-party, crucial-master-planner type of hipster wannabe. And since he has to ride his bicycle, it will be an under 30 MPH ride.
Well, the eating place would have to be very good at making food extra fast. and consider how little people read and pay attention...I predict it will be a clusterfuck if we have two locations...

Some might not show for food and then wonder where or when to meet for the next spot and we might just shoot ourselves in the foot by doing that. It could affect numbers purely on confusion.

, this has been the FIRST wednesday of the month for years now and people STILL ask when the next central meet is. You have to know your audience.

And I remember that conversation that we had at Outlaw Dave's. That was one of many that I have had before.

This opportunity showed up and I figured why not give it a shot.

You know....I never considered Kung Fu.

That is not a bad idea. If we can get them to do the parking free for that day that would be actually pretty perfect.

You just blew my mind.

Jax Grill on Shepherd for super fast food. They have a bar....and parking. I go for lunch and the place is packed, never a wait. Would think exclusive "bike parking" might be an option for a Wed. night.

That is awesome and I have been there before with WFO.

I'm always open for good ideas. I know houston but not every place.

Great suggestion. Never thought of that.

not a bad place, our dual sport group was meeting there on Wednesday nights until we moved on. outside patio with smoking and adjacent parking to keep an eye on your bikes. not full service though, you need to go inside and order and pay for drinks and food. they do bring the food out to you though.

Jax grill is more of a dine in, fork n knife, sit n enjoy type of place tho. Not super duper casual, walk around type of place.

if you stick to the outdoor patio with a large group....one would think it be alright. no waiters or waitresses, serve yourself drinks. It ain't exactly a date night place. I'm just throwing out ideas...and like Outlaw Daves, easy access on/off I-10. and then you could have a ride from Jax to OD's. lol
