Mountain Roads Near Houston?

Hey guys, I was wondering if there are any mountain/hills or different elevation of terrains anywhere near Houston. Doesn't have to be huge mountains or plateaus like in Colorado. Just some high/low roads with some sceneries. Anywhere up north maybe?

Up around Jacksonville, it gets pretty hilly, around in the Tyler area in some spots. Hill Country is best though. Camp Wood area is pretty, as is Wimberley area.

That sounds like an awesome ride. But I don't think I'm up for it yet.
