Advanced Safety course this weekend

Anyone else needing to get a ticket dismissed? i will be doing the course at the Spring Branch Education center on saturday and was wondering if any other "delinquents" were needing to do the same. I've never taken this course anyone know how it goes(how much riding, course work, videos etcc.?)

Also, does racer X teach this course?

BC

I think you do all the riding techniques that you did in the BRC but just on your own bike.

A few hours of classroom time and then a few hours on the range doing mostly basic msf excersizes. Some stuff is done that is not done in the basic msf.

It will be fun, or at least fun enough compared to defensive driving.

That is correct. The advanced course is the exact same as the basic course except on your own bike.

Have fun .. its going to be boring and HOT! You must have your gear, full finger gloves, helmet, long sleves, and boots that cover your ankles. I would suggest wearing a long sleve instead of a jacket just because it gets REAL hot out there. When I took the course there was a lot of sitting around on the bikes while on the course. IT was 50/50 course time classroom time.

wear a long sleeve shirt not your jacket. at parking lot speeds your jacket will make you die from heat exhaustion

oh and i know i couldnt do the figure 8 thing on my bike...

I'm actually taking the basic MSF this weekend at Spring Branch Education Center. So it seems as though they teach these courses simultaneously.
