I wouldn't be in the noob group and since you ride a V-Strom, Jimmy might make an exception. LOL

I'll be game for that too! I'm a total noob and want to learn as much as possible from y'all before taking it to the track.

You'll learn more at a track day. Plus, it's a safer environment to learn.

Hopefully Jimmy does, I presume my list need to be added to the first post before I am on the ride?

How much is it to goto a track? Drag strip or twisty track?

No split groups on this one. Lots of LEO activity lately, and split groups are begging for a hassle.

I'll square the list up tomorrow or Tuesday. I don't have tapatalk, so editing from my phone sucks. Besides...fishing and beer have priority right now.

Yeah, provided I don't have to work, I'll come help out. Not worried about fast groups and slow groups anymore. LOL

There's a TD on Sunday, and most of the experienced guys I'd trust to help keep eyes on a noob group will be out there.

I agree if you're not a total beginner.
Otherwise, if you are a true beginner, you need to know how the bike operates and basic physics to get full potential out of a trackday.

Pinball and EMTAggie are very good/smart street riders. These guys will show you the safe way to ride in a group.

^This. Most schools want you to have 6 months in the seat or 3k miles before you sign up for a TD.

Thanks Bill. I don't get out on the street as much anymore but I'm always up for a noob ride.

Don't worry, I'll show you how to start it, and I'll hold your hand as were riding. Nothing to cry about.

Haha yep. Still have the 636 actually. It's just sat in the garage dead for who knows how long. I'll be spending this week going over everything to get it going, and having the plastics all painted finally.
