I'm sure I don't need one but it brings a smile to my face.

When I get close to the freeway on-ramp and I let it rip , brappppp brappppppp wheelie ,let off a little , come back down to 40mph , brapppppp, wheelie again in case the people didn't already see it & let them know whos boss, brapppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp , red lights on dash , quick shifter into 2nd , slow it down ,turn body and make sure popo isn't on freeway , continue to brapppppppppppppp.

I do have to agree when its wet or cold my handling takes a toll big time.Especially in the rain I have to snail pace it although it's prob 90% the tires fault not the bike.

Quick Edit:
#3 - I have full coverage so who cares
#7 - The 200 rear tire IS expensive but its gone good mileage so far
#8 - Racebike isn't supposed to be comfortable,buy a goldwing.

Simmer down now... You must crawl before you can walk, and walk before you run. I'm sick of these RIP threads.

No, you don't... not when you're just starting out. Its RISKY as F%@#, and that's if you're an experienced, fast rider.

Give yourself a few years, and/or a dozen track days before you even think about trying.

Sure, we have a non-refundable first time riders fee of $300 to cover drinks for when after you wreck and we wait in the hot sun for the tow truck.

Rolling around on a loud, flashy literbike isn’t exactly a low-key thing to do. Everyone will turn and look, everyone will know you’re up to no good. That includes the cops — who disproportionately target literbike riders and tend to write them harsher tickets — and other riders, to whom passing you becomes something of a trophy. Is there anything worse than being that guy at a track day on the fastest bike there, getting passed by some 16-year old on a 250?
Most cops don't know the difference between a 250 with full fairings and a 'Busa. I like large displacement cars, trucks and bikes because I'm lazy and don't want to constantly wind things up.

I like liter bikes because they are fast but I also hate liter bikes because they are fast. Once you get some room to rip it's nice but for riding around town it sucks. You keep having to stop or slow down for lights, other people, or because you look down and realize you are going 3X the speed limit which is frustrating because that thing just wants to go. After a while I just get blue .
