Waiting on the doctor right now as a matter of fact. Bike needs a clutch cover, slider, and some fairings really. I was told at the ER it was a grade 3 ac joint seperation in my right shoulder. I guess I'm about to find out if it's really a grade 3 and whether I need surgery or not.

Glad your ok man, had someone with me the other day swanging back and forth across all lanes on146 near Dickinson so I couldn't pass.

I just stopped on the shoulder, they got on their brakes and.slowed enough to turn back around , then floored it and took off.

I chalked it up to drunk kids heading back from Galveston but my hair was standing up on my neck by that point and was thinking best option was to lead them back to my dad's place if they tried to chase me and hand out a father/son country asswhoopin If they were dumb enough to get out.

/end dear diary.

Thanks again guys. Looks like it is indeed a grade 3 joint seperation. Tore those ligaments up pretty good, so I'm in a sling for at least the next 4 weeks. I've already started ordering parts, so hopefully I can be back on her again after this thing heals up. I'd love to get out and ride with y'all one day.

Speedo was about 65 and I'm -1/+1, so roughly 50-55 mph.

Glad your are OK
Your information indicates 6 years experience
I am a bit surprise at your decision to shoot the gap - you know the details best.
If you want longevity at this sport ask your self what I you learn.

This is the first time I've ever gone down on the street. I had the entire middle lane and a little of the left. I know in the future, I'm probably just going to hang behind.

I also live in this area (249/Louetta). I'll keep an eye out for them. Glad to hear you're mostly OK. Get that shoulder healed up and your bike fixed, we'll see you back out there soon enough.
