RIDER DOWN....

one of my friends just went down near rayford/sawdust and i-45....he seems to be okay, in the hospital right now getting checked out. let's pray he has a fast recovery. some guy claimed my friend rear-ended him (with no marks or anything on his vehicle of course).

i would like to say....TOW TRUCK DRIVERS ARE FCKIN CROOKS....and i would literally throw rocks/slash tires/ slap/vandalize/smash their face and all the other bad stuff to "MOST" of them. and i'm in the body work business, i know for a fckin fact they are crooks. and so are some of the cops that allow them to do what they do. and i know of a few cops that has their hands in the tow truck drivers pockets as well.

THERE IS NO LAW STATING WHICH BODY SHOP YOU HAVE TO USE, THEY CANNOT TOW YOUR VEHICLE TO ANY PLACE THEY WANT, IT IS YOUR CHOICE. AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LISTEN TO THEIR "SWEET TALKING" METHODS TO TRICK YOU INTO LETTING THEM TOW YOUR WHEREVER THEY CHOOSE. FCKIN CROOKS.

any other cops on this board, please educate me if i am wrong. but the state trooper said in his own words...."i don't have time for this , we can tow it wherever we want". okay, obviously the tow truck guy is probably throwin back some change to him. because we were gonna get the bike towed to my shop, and they said what they said. i got the tow truck driver's DOT number and phone number.

where can i make a formal complaint about the officer and about tow truck drivers? i'm really sick and tired of tow truck drivers ripping people off. they are fckin vultures.

and as i stated....."MOST" tow truck drivers. i know everybody gotta make their money.....but kicking someone when their down is a low life business.

Ditto on the wrecker drivers. They charged Larrys widow $565 to pick up his bike and store it less than 24 hrs.

You might try Montgomery County Sheriff's dept and place a complaint there for starters...

Check this out... found some sections that seem relevant, but I can't cut/paste... 9 & 10 on section...B I think...(Law Enforcement Scense)

i have to say i feel a very strong dislike for tow truck drivers too. i've had little experience with them, but the nature of their business, and the ones that i've met makes me think that they're mostly crooked .
i got my car towed a few nights ago and now coolant's leaking out after only a few miles driving. i guess i need to seek some sort of complaint accepter also.

its the type of mechanism that uses a fork that slides under front of a vehicle, and depending on the type of car, may scrape the radiator like it happened to my car a few months back. This is what it looks like http://www.seanmdavis.com/violations...08262006b1.jpg

I HATE TOW TRUCK DRIVERS - THEY ARE SCUM AND THE VULTURES OF SOCIETY.

My brother's friend had his daughter killed as a wrecker was speeding to an accident for a pick-up. It's disgusting how they conduct business and sure we all need to make a living but, we can also work/study a little harder to make a better living than taking advantage of others!!!

file a complaint with the department the dps officer works out of.... they get to many complaints they loose their job. also if the cop denies the allegations of what he said remember they are always on tape......

Sort of. I heard him driving away w/ his loud exhaust and i dashed outside to find my car being towed. I know he's only doing his job, but he wanted me to dish out $200 just to drop my car (reason being: where i live i drove back to my place to find everyone took a parking spot, i was not going to take out my bike to park my car in so i left my car close to my window...they're apartments btw....i figured as soon as someone left, i would take their spot), i lost my temper and had a staring contest w this , he started breathing hard and it looked like he was scared :laughing6 . In any case, i got him to drop my car down to $90 after screaming at him.

Back on topic, lets hope for a fast recovery

BBB is the first place to be, then take the asshat to court for all the charges that wasn't suppose to be there in the first place. File complaints with the Police Department on the asscops. Bunch of Fookin Crooks.

i've witnessed 3 accidents in front of my shop....and everytime, i hear those tow guys sweet talk them into letting them tow their car.....the same ol' everytime....."oh my , that's a terrible accident, are you okay?....well, if you will allow me, i'll take your car over to this shop and we'll take care of everything. you won't pay a dime, your/their insurance will take care of it all, you just cheer up, everything will be okay".

most people don't know that, insurance will only pay up to a maximum of $300 or so....and the insured person is responsible for the difference. so when these guys charge you $1,000 to tow it 10 miles....guess who's actually getting taken care of? they are, by you. guess what happens if you don't like the shop they take your car to? storage and administration fees up the wazooo.

sorrry for the rant.
