Cable question

I'm building a bobber and at the point that I need throttle and clutch cables. Anyone ever built their own cables? Where can I get the parts? I would just order the cables if it were a stock bike but the stock cables are too long.

Thanks in advance.

Another option is to just shorten your stock cables.
