NEED HELP WITH MY 06 GSXR 750

I'm new to motorcycles and only been riding for about 3 months now and trying to figure out what's wrong with my bike. I was riding the other day and all of a sudden the bike just shut off on me and wanted to know what it could possibly be. I charged the old battery on the bike and something drained it again. I brought a new battery the next day rode around for about 30 minutes and the something drained that one too. When the bike gets a fresh battery it cranks right up but then dies. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

STATOR!! go ahead and replace the rectifier and the battery too. Usually one damage the other and so on. I already replaced the stator once, the rectifier twice and twice the battery on my 06 600GSXR

Its most likely your stator, but would not hurt to check everything. If you live on the north side of town you could take it to House of Paint, or Motorcycle Unlimited and have them check.
My stator went out and my battery, and rectifier where still good.

Deff the stator. There are tests that you can do to check whether its the stator or the rectifier, both of which are outlined in the manual. If you do not have one, you can find it here.....

It's the rectifier, very common issue on the gsxr.

It's the stator and/or Regulator rectifier. Good idea to go ahead and replace both. When I replaced mine on my 07 GSXR I put the r/r back in the same place. Got 20,000 miles out of it in that location with no problem before I wrecked it.
