Celebrating Mexican defeat

seemed a more appropriate way to celebrate cinqo for this Texan.

I hadn't been out there since I was a kid. Loved it even more than I remembered. The words about fighting the minions of a tyranny seemed just as relevant today.

The battleship was cool as a kid. Now its just awe inspiring to see something like that built in 1912. The bearings are still smooth as glass on the rangefinders.

Highly suggest a trip out if you haven't been. Great way to live some Texas history for a day.

Just an iPhone.

Was rolling around on the ground trying to get decent angles.

Had to take a couple of pics and stitch them together in photoshop for the full bike+monument shot.
