Call a dealer and ask? There are several in Houston that sell cbr's.

12k otd is a lot for a cbr250!

Prices change for lots of reasons. Delivery prices change as do factory incentives. A dealer could have paid less for a 2012 they received in 2011 compared to one they bought at the end of 2012.

No they are not. I've worked at motorcycle and car dealerships before. We had price increases throughout the model year and every dealership keeps track of what they paid for each unit. Some hold on to "old" units just to use them as advertisement to get you in the store. That's why they list a stock number or VIN in the ads.

You're quickly running out of time to find a 2012

You're wasting time posting when you should be making phone calls to dealerships. Found this on a 2013: Honda Of Houston sport bike special $11,799 (price includes all dealer incentives and bonus bucks. price does not include taxes and fees).

Start calling and see if anyone will beat it.

I remember in 2010 they still had leftover 08s for $6,500 new. The CBR hasn't changed much since then. Leftovers are usually much cheaper.

That was also during the "oil burning" fiasco.
