Riding to Virginia in Mid-June...haha

yep you read it correct. Going to yorktown on government orders, then prolly cross country after. figured i take a shot in the dark and see if anyone happens to be going that-uh-way and would want to tag along. This is funny. I cant stand the fact of not having my motorcycle for 10 weeks. ima be on my gsxr 750. I know you all prolly think i'm crazy... , im with yall on that one. let the comments begin

You'll be fine. Take/drink a LOT of water, as it will be hot as , and you'll dehydrate quickly. Make sure you have a tire patch kit, tools, etc just in case.

I've done the long distance up to Sturgis. It was fun, but I probably won't do it again.

I had my bike thoroughly inspected before the ride, but I still had to buy a new chain when I got up there, and change it out. Best to just be prepared for anything.

Youre going for 10 weeks? Id love to come, and i would certainly go if it was only for a couple weeks. i lived there for about 12 years before i moved to houston 2 years ago. I would love to see some old faces again.

Yes. Coast guard is sending me to school, so it had to be ten weeks unfortunately. Keep me updated if you'd like to go.

Cool

Planning on doing the trip there in about 4 days at the most. That averages around 350 miles a day, which is cake; if I am able to do it quicker than that without killing me or my back, I will try. Takers?
