honestly tho, like previously stated, either bike will make not difference, as long as proper jetting/mapping has been done get one for your comfort level.

From a different perspective; In my experiences the 636 has crashed pretty well, both on the street and the track.

The only real issue I've seen with them is that the clip on can "ding" the frame if it takes a hard front end hit, but beyond that, I haven't seen any cracked frames or subframes ala late model GSXR600/750's or the new R6's.

My 2 cents, YMMV.

Mine has a small ding. Hit the ground pretty hard. tail section cracked, cracked upper, and a small ding in the frame.
