insurance ?

has anyone been in a wreck when it was the other persons fault? how long did you have to wait to see if they were going to total your bike or not?

depends on your insurance company. i hope you don't have progressive, because they are greedy bastards that don't pay up......

have they even came out to look at your bike yet? has the other party accepted 100% fault, or proven that they are 100% at fault?

usually if it's not your fault, they pay up faster, because they have to pay for your rental car.

they have admitted they are 100% at fault its the girls insurance company and tehy are USAA County Mutual Insurance and they came out the beginning of last week to look at the bike, i just called and had the insurance lady extend my rental car time cause it was due back tomorrow

i already told them i didnt get hurt...i kinda wish i stayed on the bike and broke a leg then i would be rich!

a few thousand dollars and knowing when the weather changes will never be enough for me to wish i was injured in an accident. :eh:

back on topic, shouldnt be that long. is the bike at a shop? have they gotten an estimate or have they written their own? call the claims adjuster and ask for an update.

Typically 2-4 weeks to get paid off. Just keep in daily contact with the adjuster.
USAA is one of the best fwiw.
