Fairing

I'v got a few slight cracks and a scuff in my front headlight assembely is it cheaper to fix or buy a new one and get it painted?

2. It's cheaper to ignore it.
however, your thread title says "fairing", but your text is talking about the headlight assembly. WHICH ONE? Where are the small cracks/scuffs?

Sorry it's both the upper portion of the right side fairing and the cracks are around the side of the right mirror. Thinking it's called upper nose fairing that holds the headlight assembly.

ok I won't repair fairings towards the front of the bike cos the wind drag will rip it apart again in a few hundred miles of riding or maybe even less.

you can still buy a cheap plastic weld kit from harbor freight and go at it. also buy their buffing wheel, sandpaper, and renew solution or clear coat. this will have imperfections.

or just search for the used part on ebay. I see some all the time.

dealership charged me like 280bucks for only my front upper fairing. it sucked, but mine was not just cracked. it was missing pieces and I didn't find it used in my bike color.
