Gsxr = best production handling bike for many years. keep Kawasaki In mind tho. That company is the one-up company.

And you mention r6? whatt?? what year, the 2014 or something?sorry among all I rode, the 2008 r6 handled the worst.
The one you rode must have been messed up, there is a reason 75%+ of the expert C class is on a 06/07/08 r6

I don't know what happened to my last post - - - But here it is again -

Thanks for all this great info. This is exactly the kind of debate/comparison/private rider rating and opinions that I was looking for. The links are great and the stats really make sense and it's clear where personal preference/experience weighs in on helping me make a decision.

This is great guys!! Thanks for the contributions - and if you'll notice, this thread is pretty much devoid of personal attacks and insults. good thread. What a shame it started the way it did. I'm still going to test ride one this weekend, but if I get one, those fargin ugly street fairings are gonna go to the curb. ........ or maybe I can cut them up and use them for plastic welding . . . ..

From an actual owner's POV! I owned the 09-10 RC8R, it was a terrible street bike, had fueling issues and lugged at low speeds, had none of the fancy electronics or rider's aids. This bike's total design was for a track, and I am not a track person. I don't think there is a sharper looking bike on the planet! Head turner for sure. The newer ones will have some of the rider's aids that the completion has had for 4 years. If I were a more aggressive rider or a track guy I would have kept it for sure. I mean just look at that thing.! The bike, not the ugly Indian that is on it!

I like to ride aggressively (not supidly though) for corners and acceleration but not as hard as at a track.
It definitely is a COOLIO looking bike.
