Well it all depends... are they doing a drag to 60mph, 100mph, top speed? The winner will vary depending on when they want to cut the throttle.

I think the V-twin has more torque, but the Duc isn't made for a straight

either way it goes i hope you take it to the drag strip so no one gets hurt or arrested!

GL i want the GIXXER to win!

v twins usally have less torque jsut more torque down low inline 4's mor emore torque than twins but at higher rpms.

I already gave em to you. Go to a track. Talk to people in the know. Practice on the track. Race, you guessed it, on the track.

I agree with 04RSVR. Being both a Duc and bike owner, I would have to say it boils down to the rider. Both bikes have their advantages, but the real test is on the track, not just some straight line. The track is a proving ground where riders and their machines are put to the test. I would actually like to see this test, I think it would make for an interesting experiment.

Actually, when I said track I meant the 1/4 mile. With the time slips the two racers can see their individual strong points and have real proof. At 130 mph .01 seconds is hard to tell.

I agree that throwing some turns and braking into the mix is a better race but that is not what the guy was asking about.

F@ck the egos man! Buy a mini and go do TMGP's!

Show him the AMA superbike results from 99~2002.

The Gixxer 750 won all but 1, and lost it to an RC51 ridden by Hayden

Oh, and when is said race? And can you teach me how to type ebonics?
