Looking for a Metric Bolt

So I posted this in another thread, but it didn't get any hits, so I figured I'd try here.

I'm looking for a big, long metric bolt. 10-1.25, somewhere around 120mm length. I went to a local bolt place (Mainland Bolt in Texas City) and he didn't have anything in that thread, apparently it's an odd thread. Anybody know another place around here I could try? I'd rather not go the internet route, as I'm not sure exactly what length I need, but I will if I have to.

What's it for, the GSXR? Swing by the house. I've got just about every bolt for that bike.

Unfortunately it's not a stock bolt. Long story short- it only had one frame slider when I got it, and I found out why- guy before me f'ed up the threads in the L motor mount/frame slider hole. I got new Vortex frame sliders, but the bolt they come with (10-1.25 x 100mm) only sort-of fits. I'm gonna go with a longer bolt and hope I can get it to grab enough thread to hold, or maybe a smaller bolt with a nut on the end where it comes out, right by the headers. That's what the guys at Mainland Cycle said to try. I don't have many options at this point- I REALLY don't want to have to re-tap it.

looks just like the front caliper bolts off my old GSXR. I'll check thread count and pitch when I get home.

The problem

Thanks for the suggestions guys. The problem is it's a really long bolt- 100mm, like 4 inches. Longer than my middle finger. I've called Baytown Bolt and 3-4 other places I found this side of Houston, and they all said the same thing- they all have every length up to 100mm, but none longer. I guess that's just the way it is. I've found a 120mm online, so I think I'll just go with that and see how it works.

Well, Grainger has a 25 min order on that one, I'm on the phone with my "people".

If they have it, I can bring it home Friday.

Don't worry about it. Fastenal has what I need online, it looks like. I'm gonna measure the part when I get around to it, so I can be sure and order the right length. I'm in no big hurry- it's a track bike, and I don't have any Trackdays coming up. Just something I've been tinkering around with.

Turner hardware on Hempstead and W 34 st. Mom and Pop store but have items in stock (especially nuts and bolts etc) that you would never think of. We have built countless heads up racing engines and cars and besides what we buy from ARP the rest comes from Turner. One of the best chassis builders in houston and arguably the country also uses Turner. I know that was a lot if unnecessary info but I just wanted to get the word out to The MH community about this little gem. I can't tell you how many times they have saved our butts days before we needed to be across the country for a race.
