Let me bust another myth about the EBR being so light. Info taken from Honda's and EBR's websites.

CBR1000RR Curb Weight = 440.9 pounds (Includes all standard equipment, required fluids and full tank of fuel (4.6 gallons)— ready to ride.)

EBR 1190 = Weight (Wet, no fuel) 419lbs.

A gallon of gas weighs at least 6lbs. With its 4.5 gallon tank that would put the EBR at 446lbs

Sounds like I would need an extended own it for a month test ride to get a feel for it. I'm sure it's a great bike just not sure it's worth a couple grand than an rsv4, s1000rr, or regular pannigale( I think I have the general price correct). I guess I could google myself but what is it's price when compared to a ktm. Same engine, but like classic said he didn't like the ergos of it. I just need to get paid to demo all the bikes and write my opinion down, if only such a job existed.

The real way to measure it is with the same rider and a lap timer

Ktm is $16.5k but it looks like ebr has beefed up the ktm engine some to get more tq and hp out of it. It would be fun to ride both back to back.

Measure the weight?

Could care less what it does at the track. Not many people will even take it and actually push it to the limits.

Its a nice bike but i wouldn't buy it for that price. Especially when i dont need all of that extra stuff on it just to cruise around the streets.

Of course. You mean you've never used a lap timer to measure weight?

What you role the bike on top of it and see which bike crumbles it up the most? Lol

My lap timer can weigh the in my bowels and calculate how much it slows me down per lap, so it should be able to weigh the bikes?

For me personally, sport bikes on the street make no sense. They are uncomfortable and I don't need the ultimate performance they offer on the street because I won't be riding in 8/10ths much less 10/10ths. So if I were to ever get another street bike it would probably be a adv tourer or sport naked.
