Try changing out the diaphram. Its around 100 bucks. Mine went out twice in my old dodge. After the second time I noticed there was no vent tube in the axle and letting water in. All my gear earl was milky and clogging up the diaphram.

FYI, it isn't hard packed enough to crawl through it in 2wd, but keep some speed and you're fine... at least with all terrain tires. i don't mean baja it and bounce around... just down slow down or stop in the areas that ARE soft.

I took my 2wd blazer on 30in A/T all down the beach. its USUALLY packed by the water.... but then theres still giant areas of shells which feel quite squishy. A few times I started to loose momentum, but if there a group of ya'll, I don't see it being an issue.

I may come out for the day. Father in law is going elsewhere in his badass jeep so I'll just be in my F150 4x4. nothing special.

No V8, I looked at mostly V8s and they were mostly over 130k miles and Timing belt was not done yet. After reading and reading I convinced myself I didnt need the V8 because of the timing belt, its AWD and gets a lot worse MPG. Interior is spotless and has $96k on the odo. Sunroof, black fabric seats, 115AC outlet....

Wish I could make it with my mall crawler.

Air yall's tires down, drop them to around 15psi and the sand wont be a problem.

Cool. And the best part..............no rust! Now you can drive it through the saltwater yourself and it up.

Thought about bringing the dually.....don't want to spend a day digging it out again. Maybe once I get tires.

I'm getting all my stuff together now.not sure about the tides. If all else fails and it seems like it will be to high there's always high island itself to find a place to hangout. It does require a sticker. I think $10 for the year

Yeah $10 for the sticker...I always get mine at "the big store" but heard there are some others that have them too?
