I'm no shop but I've plastic dipped hundreds of things. Motorcycles , cars, laptops, wheels, ect. My truck had had plastic dipped rims for over a year. If you need some help I'd be happy to

has anyone dipped a fuel tank???? does it were off easily with jeans on it all the time

Yes it will wear. We put 5 coats on my friends tank. Any hard areas that rub against the tank back and forth will make it peel

plastidipped the rims on my truck

Did my rims and all emblems on my truck and it turned out bad .
