That was a 300 with only 500 miles on it for 3500 ( with abs ), that sounded a bit TOO good to be true though :\ might have to look into that one a bit lol

No, maybe not. Seen em out there around low 4k they might be just wanting to get what they owe on it to be rid of the payment. I like my 300 ABS as my first bike. And I guess like any bike it likes to go 15-20 over limit . I have no issues moving on the freeway cause its seems 85-90 is its happy place. Does not have much after that .. i have topped mine at 106 tucked in (I think it still had a little left cause it was still climbing at a decent rate when I let off). I had to get off the freeway so had to let off. I weighed 245 at the time. Stock bike except Leo Vince slip on. You would like the 300 or the SV650. I been trying to find a cheap Sv650 that might need a little work for a second bike. GLW your search.

I love this shizzit out of it. Glad I picked the one that felt the best between my legs... Similar to the line my wife has told me a time or two.

I did the same thing....Got it last year, went into the shop yesterday and Kawasaki has given rebates bringing the cost to around 6k now.... I love my 650 and ride it 99% of the time.

. I paid less than sticker + mesh jacket, boots, gloves, and a few other things thrown in... but not enough to bring it down to $6k. No regrets though. Love the one I got. It was completely my doing why there are 4721 miles on it... been taking it slow, learning, and most importantly riding within my ability only pushing those boundaries when I am completely comfortable with where I am.

It's also much more forgiving than anything close to a ss. It's nothing more than a ninja ninja 650r below 9k rpm anyways.

This is a very biased opinion as I have owned a few SVs. It is hands down the easiest bike to ride as it will pull right off idle. It is quick enough to keep you interested, but docile enough not to spit you off.

I have ridden the Yamaha and have to say that it is the most anemic bike I have ever ridden. The power delivery is pants....

If you do manage to throw an SV down the road, they crash really well. Bits can be had for next to nothing. I hurt the motor in my race bike, and just bought a rear cylinder for $75........

SV is the way forward. Expect to pay 2000 - 3500 depending on year, miles, naked, or S.
