Question question about HIDs on Ducati 848

i got some HIDs a while ago and i've just been too busy and havent had time to even try to install them myself. I'm not much of a tech person so i really dont want to. So I called Houston superbikes today (getting my bike serviced there tomorrow) and they said they dont install HIDs on Ducatis bc its too much of a liability. Dude said that installing them could mess up the ECU..has anyone ever heard of this before with ducatis? and what exactly causes this?

Is there a way to make my headlight brighter? How can I add HIDs?

I would say if it is a quality kit, good ballasts, relay and wiring from the battery then go for it.

You are correct. Hid's that come installed with projectors from the factory are in fact legal.

Hid's that are bought and put into a stock light housing are illegal and blinds the out of everyone .

Because most people put them in reflective housings causing in needed glare. If you put in a proper projector they are legal as can be. Reflector housing hid is illegal and each person should get a ticket if they do it that way
