Yea, but a view of the track.

VIP access is not all its cracked up to be. Trust me thats how I went last year.

This year, I went as a Track Marshal (I wasn't even the only black guy). I didn't even miss the beer.

Had a bad view of turn one and two...

We only planned to get GA tickets initially, had T12 last yr.

Really GA is your best bet for $ value

But we didn't pay for parking, food, drinks or tickets. Can't complain really, lol

We did pay somebody from here $25 for parking and 2 GA tickets for Friday.

Didn't know you were black, lol

thats good for free

I got at control.

They let the track go hot (after saying it was clear) with the medic bmw when we were inspecting the surface...car almost took us out coming out of turn one.

Thats why they make us wear whistles.

I will post the video form the parade lap I did. I was in the last group. I hear a few people went down....

Yeah we saw the bikes lining up sat late, and I figured there'd be some crashing going on.

Berry from storage wars was in the pits, he's a funny cat

Black dude from fast and furious was there too w his crew, he got a bent wheel from a team

Lots of people were taking home used gas cans.

It happened three times!!!

The first time it was pretty close. That was when we all trusted control.

I was the guy yelling down to 2A. Later on we used the whistle.

We really need more local press coverage of events such as this. IMO, thanks to NASCAR and (not to offend anyone) old school Harley mentality, they have created a mystique that sportbikes and things related to them are dangerous. If more non-cable/satellite channels would air coverage and promote the races, it would get more attention from people who generally woukdnt give it much notice.

Motorsports are just not very popular in America as they are in Europe. Besides nascar what really makes it to national coverage?

Side note, I was surprised to see tons and tons if Harley's and other cruisers.

We had a couple of cases of Wheat Sodas iced down in the truck, tailgated for a couple of hours to let the traffic get down the road, then headed back to the ranch for Fajitas and more beverages, the drive home Monday morning was interesting due to weather, but better than sitting in gridlock traffic!

We ended up getting home at 9

We started down 71, and still saw bumper to bumper traffic so we back tracked and went thru luling

I can't believe people were that late for the MS, when I used to ride it, we were home by like 3-4, we saw bikes all the way home

They got us workers off the track QUICK at about 3pm. I was home at about 6pm. I think I beat the traffic and went down 71...there were some slow spots.

Nice, i was in the gator in turn 1 then we would haul to 19 after the start, ended up scooping 8 bikes up over the weekend.

The problem with feliesha is she would not call a cold track after safety care made its round, she would just say 5 min break.

We must have been lucky ... left right after the finish of the GP race and rolled down 71. Traffic wasn't too bad and made it back to H-town by 6pm.
