Refer me to a knowledgeable vtwin mech....

Ive split the cases on my Buell and need a shop (who knows wtf they are doing and have the tools and confidence) to replace my pinion shaft bearing race and line lap the bore. If the mechanic doesnt even know what this process is, ill move on to the next guy.

It is imperative this is done properly so if any of you know someone capable, can you please send me some info?

Ithink the few mechanics ive already spoken to were a lil freaked when I knew more about the process than they did. (not that im really surprised by that nowadays)

You might send "scootertrash" a message. If he can't do it, I'm almost sure he will know someone who can.

excellent...ill shoot him a pm.

thanks.

still open to suggestions....itd be even nicer if the shop was in sugar land area. i really dont even want to go near republic HD and ask them to do it. once you mention "Buell" over there, all eyes get glazed over and dumbfounded. even though its still kinda HD engine. lol

Southern Motorcylce off of Aldine-Mail Route and the Hardy. Guys that run it are not the friendliest folks, but they are honest and do great work.
