So what are your plans with the trashed motor? It looks like they changed the design of the cylinder jugs vs the older model Looks like there's no chance of resalvaging them. I'm guessing bent valves and damaged stem bushings. Any noticeable damages to the cams and cam chain?

cams and cam chain are fine. i think the only thing he wants to keep is the clutch cover and clutch.

we got the motor put back in the bike last night. a majority of the electricals are hooked up. airbox, throttle bodies, undertail. i have to re wire the after market turn signals. somebody did a terrible spagetti wire job. will post pics tonight

well we got the motor in last night and fired it up. oil started pouring out of the line on the cylinder head. anybody have any ideas on a cheap fix for this? tried a new copper washer. the threads on the iside look weak and crushed

Ninja 300 engine swap.

It was cross threaded or damaged from shipping or an accident? Rechase the threads and clean out the shavings. Ensure the mating surfaces in the line and bolt are square.
