I tried to break into my garage that way last night; but with no windows at the top to peak into it was near impossible! I want to see him break into one without windows for him to peak into to see where that release latch is!

People who work putting up garage doors know every curve/dent/bolt/rail hanger of all those doors..

its very easy instead of going for the latch I went for the string takes 5 seconds. I use two big carabiners through the track on mine. Don't even use the opener anymore. They will have to rip the door off,

Some apartment garages have a keyhole too that allows access. Disable the keyhole and ziptie the release mechanism.

Yikes! Good tip on securing the release mechanism. Didn't realize just how easy it would be to breaking with that.

keep an out out for a long time cos these filthy humans may wait for several months before parting out and selling on ebay or take apart in mexico. when in AZ, I saw this happen a lot with cars, bikes, powertools, anything with engines, or pretty much any vehicle.

we all worked too hard for our passion. good luck man, get your bike back, and in one piece too, regardless of any insurance coverage.
