How do your boots fit?

Just got my first pair of boots and they fit like a glove. They're not too tight but there isn't much room for movement. My question for y'all is how do you like your boots to fit? Do new boots that are semi tight loosen up over time? Should there be any movement in the heel or toe area? Or do you like hour boots to have some wiggle room?

I prefer a little tight to start since they loosen up over time usually

They're for riding, not walking. Keep that in mind.

I've been wearing justin work boots while riding. I rented boots for the track day. Just never got around to buying some until now. I appreciate the feedback from you guys!

I like them snug. What brand did you end up buying?

I love my Puma Desmo boots... when I first got them they were a little snug, but finally started to loosen up a bit. Now they fit very comfortably when I'm riding, and walking around in them for extended periods of time.

I have the Sidi Fusion. Pretty decent street boot. They're snug through the foot but I wish it would lock my ankle in a little better. I have a feeling that's more my foot shape at fault than the boots though. It could also be that I'm more used to hockey skates and ski boots where there is zero movement inside the boot.

I have sidi and A* boots, and both fit very tight, aside from the toes being too long. Anyone with wide/short race boots, let me know.

I like wiggle room.
