Re: How was the Trackday 2day?

Hey Gianni, found out a big factor in low siding. last night I went out and checked my tire pressure on my bike since they were at normal temps. Front was 36psi and the rear 32psi. I think the guage we used at the track is f'ed up pretty bad. So guys keep an eye out for that, tire pressures are really important out on the track. Typically the front should be 31 and the rear 29 but can vary per rider....

Re: How was the Trackday 2day?

Yeah, it was one that Brad had been using for a while. I called him and told him to find a different one and check his today to see if his are that way. No word yet. I used an Auto zone special yesterday(kind with the stick poking out the bottom) Never had a problem with it before.

Re: How was the Trackday 2day?

I check my tires before every session and also went over to the Bibmen trailor to see if my gauge was working right. Ended up running 30 in the front and 29 in the rear. Turned out to be a nice combo for the day. Can't say enough about how important tire pressure is.

I used the Analog one that the Michelin guy had on his pump when we went to air up our tires... It was in another units so I just did the conversion and it worked great. Im guessin u're talkin about the blue little gauge u had let me borrow? I have this cheap one with the little stick at the bottom and Ive always used it and never had problems.
