you didn't have to be level 2 to take the sanchez class.

you just go up to him and ask him to film and help you for free when he has other pating students to tend too?

it was a class for level 2. level 1 was something diffrent.

Re: How was the Trackday 2day?

well fellas...needless to say IT WAS eventfull. I saw a lot of good riders and bad ones. Unfurtunately I went down, nothing happened to me...some minor things to the bike. Overall, I thought it was a good learning experience. At the end of the day I went back out and took it slow, I was trying to work on body positioning and holding lines, but I had to much on my mind from what had taken place earlier. I think I did well, for only having been on the bike for a few months I think I'm learning a lot and will learn a lot more if I keep doing this...so I guess I'll be seeing a lot more of you on later track days.

P.S.
Syd is the one who made me go down...but I should have been paying more attention..lol

Re: How was the Trackday 2day?

i did not get to ride but i saw alot of action in turn 1(cornerwork)
i was impressed by Syd, he has only few trackdyas under his belt and he was on fired, Andy was also riding good, Gianni looked like he was taking it easy i seem him go faster than that maybe because he lost his sleeping bag James was also riding good i almost black flag him for passing two people on the outside of turn 1
there were to guys on level 4 bike # 270 and 955, this guys were fast as they wheelied after hitting the bump exiting turn 3 all the way to turn 4
i almost forgot ride smart is having a level 0 for Ali J/k it was to meet you Ali

In the morning I went out once, while it was raining and I barely leaned and caught myself slipping..* *So I just did some laps and practiced my throttle control.* Then after that I was not too too comfortable with the track still being damp.* It wasnt until the last two sessions that I really started pickin up the pace and I was able to run 1:57-1:58.* The rest of the day I was not pushin like I normally do,* I was just tryin to get back in the groove of things since I hadnt even mounted on my bike since the last track day back in april.* *

and YES... some mother$*@& took my sleeping bag sunday night... it completely dissapeared... dont let me catch anyone with it or there will be some kickin goin down.

That will happen in any level.

Lap traffic is just a track day inevitability.

Of course as you move up levels you feel like there's less because you're a bit slower, but as you get faster you seem to run into the same traffic again. Even Ty howard runs into traffic!! Ahem... Syd..
