Identify this part 05 R1

Picked up a used 05 R1 and was going over the bike... Found this part on the right front fork, between the upper and lower triple tree. Looks like it is a clamp or possibly just something to hold a cable. The plastic is cracked so I was able to pull it off. Can anyone identify it?

Thanks

gotcha... all wires/cables seem to be running correctly so I don't see it being an issue.

I think it holds the throttle cables from banging around.
