Question worth the hassle to bring bike along to COTA for a parade lap???

I'm going to be a track marshal at MotoGP. They are letting us do a parade lap.

Parade laps are always slow as the fat cop on the harly leading them.

Maybe this one will be different?

Probably not.

If it would be worth it you, then do it. But is seems like a lot of trouble for 15 minutes of putting around.

Maybe ridesmart will do a parade lap. Godsuki used to lead them for TTD at rocket pace. I've seen a few wrecks on a parade lap. LOL.

Well, that was a nightmear. What really sucked is if you did the parade lap you didn't get your name in the drawing for the $800 COTA helmet.

The parade lap ran an hour late, some people crashed...

It was pretty fun passing everyone in my group though.

I don't even remember what they said about passing...

oh, just looked at the instructional card

"No passing" lol

but it also says "one direction only"

right it was worth it. Passed all sorts of people as well. They had no control riders, and too many panigales parking it, so the with it.

They did have control riders it was just impossible to see who they were. They were the same folks running the people around the track on bikes except they all got ducs to ride for the parade lap.

Once I get my video up, you can clearly see a guy on a motard trying to keep me in the heard.

the next day the track was covered nuts, bolts and random that fell of the bikes...

I think they should have let us ride to the grid and start form there but like I said by the time my group got on it was already running an hour late.
