How about you kick the people who abuse the feature in the nuts.

Figuratively speaking that is.

its unfortunate everyone has to "suffer" but the way it is now is working and making people responsible for what they are posting.
i'm confused as to how the one could "abuse" an edit feature. what kind of abuse?

the abuser(s) would start /drama/bs/whatever - then go back later... and delete it... and put something like this "" over their original post...

the abuser(s) would essentially start a bunch of bs then cover their tracks...

members will create threads/posts, get mad, hold grudges, e-fight, and a few minutes/hours/days later go back and edit their posts making it hard to see the mods need to talk to about drama.

I like Clayton, but IMO if he, or anyone else doesn't follow the rules of the board or abuses its privileges they should be banned.

At first temporarily and if that doesn't work, permanently.

In the meantime, unfortunately the rest of us have to "pay" for the indiscretions of a few.

Perhaps now that this is out in the open, we members can help police the issue.

It wasnt just clayton but other members finding loop holes for registration since they dont respect what is given to them. So the powers at will took some stuff away. Clayton is behaving well now

We have several talented IT guys here on the board, I'm sure they could close the "loop holes" and give the mods the tools they need to police the idiots.

the version of the bulletin board we use limits what we can do (spammers own us). this version is crazy expensive as it is and at the rate we are growing would probaly cost more :eh:

so its easier for the members to think twice, post once

How much more money do you need? I'd be happy to help out.

I understand the situation however, I'm just not happy with it, as I'm sure you aren't as well.
