The CL15 is a good quality mid priced helmet for the money.

HJC and KBC are fine helmets. the only negative i can say about them is that they are heavy. Aria Shoie and Soumy are lighter and alittle more forgiving on the neck when your doing long rides.

but as long as its dot/snell approved your good to go

I am a large in Shoei X-11 helmets, do you think my size would change when switching to HJC?

Just like cloths, sizes change from one brand to another! I would test fit first before you spend the money on one.

Both are good.. the KBC fit tighter than the HJC.. but both good. I crashed back of the head first with a KBC Vr2.. cracked it across the back and knocked my lights out for abit.. but no noticeable brain damage...
