Quick Shifter Expansion Module

Could someone explain this quick shifter to me and would it be beneficial for a Honda CBR600RR?

Thanks! That helps.

I take it that it is more beneficial for performance or racers...? I thought this might be something that helps my laziness of shifting. Lol. Thanks again.

Not necessarily, I ride around town and can still utilize it. I tend to use clutch from 1st to 2nd if at low rpm because it's a long shift.

The way I see it is if money is no object it's better to have it than not. It is not just racing object but also comfort for shifting at freeway speeds, hand off clutch and resting.. etc..
My aprilia comes equipped with it.. did yours gary?.

Nope, I bought one with the extra cash I had in my pocket by not buying an RSV4, and I got a better, faster, and more well rounded street bike out of the deal!!

Also, my Woolich Racing ECU kit has a QS function that is currently in the works right now. As soon as it's released, I'm removing my aftermarket QS, and putting it up for sale

So, you were saying.....?

Yeah, BORC reunited!

You wanna know a secret? I may have ridden your RSV4. Being the good friend that I am, I left the chicken strips on it so you could have the satisfaction of scrubbing them yourself

Wouldn't mind having one of those on my Ninja. Seems like a nice QoL upgrade.

Quickshifters

Well until you have a quickshifter that works on both upshift and downshift you have not really been to paradise. Particularly with auto throttle blip on the downshift.

Here's a photo of the Tuneboy QS setup on my Ducati Multistrada. There is a strain guage in place of the gear shift linkage that connects to the O2 sensor so the ECU program can read upshift or downshift pressure, and kill ignition/throttle on upshift or blip throttle on downshift.

So lazy old me doesnt use the clutch much these days, only when starting or stopping or riding slow in a car park.
