Gear indicator 08 cbr1k

This question might have been asked before but I'm gonna ask it anyway. I just picked up a used 08 cbr1k and I notice there's no gear indicator anywhere on the gauge. Am I not reading it right or Honda forgot to put one in lol.

You are correct, it does not have a gear indicator. If you interested in adding one check out Healtech.
