Dead battery on ninja 300 - ideas?

Hey guys I have a ninja 300 I'm at work and the battery is dead on me.

First time this has happemed... I tried to bump start it but I couldn't get that to work. (Efi?)

Anyone near 11999 katy freeway (near dairy ashford) that can help?

Or a number for a place that will jump my bike?

Let me know.

Did you install any aftermarket lights or anything that messes with the wiring? If so, unplug it.

See if any of your coworkers or people around has jumper cables. There's an orielly's down south on Dairy Ashford. Bring your battery/bike there and have them charge your battery.

If you on the HOV. HCTRA will give you a free jump. You just have to call them and they'll come out to you.

Interesting. My brother has a Ninja 300 that has killed two batteries in the year they've had it. Everything is stock on it. Do you know if there's been any kind of factory recall for electrical issues?

be careful about jumping it..you don't want to fry your system.

your probably better off running over to cycle gear/wal-mart/auto zone and buying a battery tender to charge it up proper-like.

Bro two things in jumping the big little ninja. Negative lead on the footpegs or somewhere else other than the negavie terminal lead on the battery, and

Only jump it from a car or truck battery alone. Make sure the other vehicle is not running or you 'run' the risk of damaging your regulator, stator and or ECU. If the lights come on you should be able to just push start it by dumping the clutch in first at about 8mph or so.
