Overnight parking at Westin Galleria

I'll be staying at the westin galleria in a few weeks and was wondering how safe the surface lot there is.

I sold the 'blade and will just be taking my 07 sv650N. Its nothing special, and is equipped with a gorilla alarm/remote, so I have my doubts about it being taken, but if this place is hot spot for bike thefts id rather not mess with it at all.

Anyone have/heard anything regarding this area/lot?

Good call. You think they're alright with leaving a bike up there?

the J.W. marriot is right across the street. ride past the valet stand and directly in front of you before you make the left turn, you will see a bunch of high end cars parked in the few spots there. Those are were they park the high end cars and the good tippers cars.

Park your bike there, then walk over and hand either the guy at the stand or the doorman a 20.

They will take good care of it.

this brings up an odd question the few times i've been at a club or hotel where valet was offered:

Do you let the valet park your motorcycle? I didnt, i parked in valet and dashed them but i didnt want to let them park my bike.

I use to do gigs there overnight all the time. Ride down till you find the loading dock and park next to it in the lot side. There is a big fenced in cage with stantions you can lock the bike to. Plus all the hotel crew are walking past there 24/7 and there is a camera and the security office 100 feet from there.

Valets wont touch bikes because there insurance doesnt cover it since you have to have a MC endorsement and most valets do not.
