The same thing happend to me last year and I spent 12 hours in Ben Taub but it was my lower tripple that snapped not the forks. And I was wearing my gear

and Paniro....I don't mean to sound like an , but what if someone trashed their bike at the track, would you still say "all in the name of a race, how stupid?" just because it's not YOUR cup of tea, doesn't make it stupid....just not your thing, that's all.
