R.I.P. Larry

The wrecks are way out of hand everywhere. I'm from Baton Rouge and the forum I was on over there has a section just for accidents and updates. Their most recent loss was a couple of months ago in a very similar accident. They just had a benefit function for his family last weekend.

, very sorry to hear about the loss of another rider.

"Of course all 3 of us were going way too fast. larry leading because he was the fastest."

But - he was fastest alright - fastest to get dead...

The ultimate thrill - dying early.

Jeezus, how sad for his family and friends.

Yes you've met him and ridden with him. I've got some pictures of all of us hanging out in Chappel Hill towards the end of a good Sunday ride.

Larry was one of the nicest guys, always greeted you with a smile and a hand shake. A very skilled rider, even on the big busa. He was riding a new gixxer1k at the time. But speed can kill even the most experienced riders out there on the street. That little old lady had no way to judge the extreme closing speeds capable of that bike. No fault of hers as stated by the folks that were there.

I'll miss riding and chatting with him. RIP my friend.
