Boots with skid plates?

Might be a stupid question but do they really have boots that have the metal on the bottom of them?

kekekeke! I thought about doing this as well and haven't even seen that biker movie people talk about as a reference. I wonder if you'd slide or just come to an abrupt stop going 30+ mph

MX boots, some of them have a metal plate across the toes...

...another forum (or maybe this one) had a link that sold a metal 'plate' that fit on the heel of a boot (cruiser style) so you could drag your heel and throws sparks.

If the 'spark' show was a little better, they might be worth the 'cager get off my ' aspect.
