need fiddy friends in Humble/houston area

Hey I have an 04 crf50 i would love to ride with some other people. I'm not too great but I'm learning a lot.

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out on something. I am missing the bolts that go into the forks so i need both of them. I don't have one to go check the size at the hardware store. I need both of them but they need to be slightly longer because mine are stripped at the top. If someone could find me some bolts at the hardware store that would be awesome. I need to replace on of the bolts on the motor mount also before I ride it much more.

My brake and throttle control are getting a lot better day by day but I cant ride much with these missing bolts. I really shouldn't be riding at all. So if anyone can find me which bolts I need that would be grand. If anyone ever wants to ride I would be game for that. I'm no expert but I enjoy riding around and trying to do wheelies as much as possible and for as long as possible.

Thanks

I thought he was being serious.......I don't have a bolt as a reference point so there is no way for me to find which bolt I need. The one bolt I had ended up in my moms tire somehow :(

I have a spare set of springs and stuff if your retainers are stripped beyond repair, while you are in there you should put hd springs with no slop bushings. If you come down to the sw side for a ride you can stop by my house well get it fixed up.

yup the 14mm one. My bushings are ****ed too but Its hard for me to get my bike that far I dont have a truck. How much will you sell those bushings for. My forks might be ****ed but it would be great if we could fix them. I want my 50 100% before im doing any more wheelies on it and my front tire is crooked which might be the result of bushings so forget even trying stoppies.

Do you have bushings for sale? My front tire is slightl tweeked looking like it need bushings.

My bike came with a redbarron kit with new springs and extended fork legs. I need the bolts in my forks before I do anmore driving.

Let me know if you have anything for sale that I might need.

Can someone give me specifics on the bolt in question. I went to the hardware store and replaced a nut on my motor mount, got my exhaust mounted pretty well but now I need the bolts that go into my forks. Please someone help me out if you get a chance.

When I get these bolts my bike should be 90% done. I will buy those springs/bushings from you josh for $40 if you can install them for me. I might buy a few more things while im there and just have you check out my bike. I have been rocking some pretty good wheelies but I definitely need a new rear brake. It is not very sensitive at all so most wheelies I just use throttle control. IF I use the brake I have to slam it and it brings me back to earth and ends the high.

My handle bars need to be adjusted also but I fear one of the bolts is stripped. My handlebars are pushed too far forward but I don't think it effects the wheelies too much.

If anyone knows the specifications of the bolts I need please let me know. I have been asking here and on fiddy life but no one seems to have a definite answer. I just need a bolt longer than stock because the top of the thread is stripped. I have been told there is much more thread so a longer bolt will reach that thread. If not I might need to buy a fork tube.:icon_smil
