Ok so this video proves one of two things is true.

EITHER, his clank together and sparks shoot off when he walks OR he doesn't understand what could happen if he messes up. ..

Well, his dad Robert and uncle, Joey both were champion road racers who died racing, so I'd bet he gets it.

Someone dies every year at IOM TT. Usually atleast 1 racer and several spectators. If you watch any of the IOM docus they spend a good deal of time talking about past deaths and how the families deal with the risk of the race.
