2001 ninja with 9k miles on it. Runs and drives. I have the bill of sale for it and it's clean. I bought it as a starter bike and got bored with it. It's a great starter bike for a great price the only reason I'm selling it do cheap is because I would rather someone use it than it just sit up a few more months You can come look at it at anytime 832 451 2110

It's a 2001 with 3 different colors of body work(and it's still missing some on top of that)

price sounds about right to me.

As long as it runs good it seems legit.

Are the older 250s the same as the newer ones? Suspension/ chasis? I dont see many ppl racing or even tracking the old 250s.....

'05 EX250 (sold)
'95 CBR1000F (sold)
'00 CBR600F4 (sold)

The pre 08s have 16 inch wheels so rubber selection is limited. The rest of the bike is also completely different, with a worse suspension, slightly more power and slightly less weight than the 08+ 250s.

Apparently you can swap the rear swing arm assembly (brake, shock, wheel) from the '08+ onto the older one, as well as the front wheel. Quick search didn't say for sure if the forks were a direct swap as well, but seems like a possibility.

edit: yep, sounds like it bolts right on.

they forks are different sizes ... 35 vs. 36 mm... you would have to swap the whole front end...

yeah, if you read down through that thread that's what the guy did, just like doing a GSXR front end on an SV. Trees, forks, brakes, rim: just bolts right on.

Apparently even the aftermarket rear sets for the '08+ bolt right on as well.
