Truck Broken Into!

Ok so WTF?! Sunday morning I walk outside to see that some has smashed thru my back door window of the truck rumaged thru everything in my center console BUT taken NOTHING!? Now check this out - in my truck I had the following - a brand new SONY head unit (with face on coz I'm too lazy to take off); 1 satelite radio on dash (coz I'm too lazy to take down); 1 digital camera in door; my briefcase for work, a pair of rugby boots and various other BS. But they took nada!???! Just everything in my center console was laying around the truck - as if something specific was on there wanted list. I can't figure it out.

Now the really wierd thing is one night prior I, in my stupid drunken state left my pasanger window WIDE open for all to climb in and play BUT nothing was taken. (Don't worry I wasn't driving I had a DD - hence why I was in the passanger seat) AND then the very next night someone decides to come smash the window???

OH well another chapter in my life - I guess I am very fortunate but now to the question of, who has a hook up on auto glass? I want to get a new windscreen at the same time too.

Thanks.

someone could have walked out side and scared them off but didn't realize why they ran off so they didn't call the cops or try to find you.

Don't you live around 10-Houston Ave?

I live just on the other side of the over pass and I have a hard time keeping the crackheads at bay. i've had my share of experiences with them too. sorry to hear about your troubles.

as far as auto glass....
If it was door glass I could get you hooked up cheap, however I do not know how to do the rear window or windsheild.
I would start calling the junkyards on sheperd. They are your best bet.

This is where I went and I have to recommend them on price and service. I called 5 different places and the range for BOTH windscreen and back passanger window was $295 to $395 BUT Affordable Glass quoted me $195 OUT THE DOOR and did it within 35 minutes!!!.

SO save yourself the hassle of calling around just go there!!!

Thanks for everybodies help!
