Sad but this is most land owners' long term goal. Every RV park, dirt bike, 4 wheeler, 4x4, etc park is just a temporary deal to pay land taxes till you can bank on the land. As my great grandfather said " aint makin no more land!".

Stuff like this is all but inevitable.

Fort Bend RC Club lost the previous flying field inside of Fort Bend Fair Grounds because of housing subdivisions coming into the perimeter. Instead of whining and complaining, the club preempted the inevitable field closure by working with the County planners to locate a different field. FBRC club now flies at a new field over a landfill a few miles from the old location, and most the club members like the new field better.
