People ARE stupid. I made up my mind long ago that its easier to dodge them and not get my feelings hurt.

exactly??? yikes. I'm between Windfern and Fairbanks, south of Sam Houston race park and North of white oak bayou. In JV high boundaries, but did not attend school there. Grew up in Windfern Forest, but moved to Chicago for 10 years when I was 14...probably know some same folks if you graduated in the 96-00 range. Now live nearby, but different neighborhood.

First mistake was riding next to a car. Second was riding next to a car with a woman driving. Third was riding next to a car with a woman driving on the phone.

Although I swear it's a law they be reuired to be on the phone while driving. In dallas they live with in in front of their face. Maybe look up for a red light and then back down. Light turns green, have to honk to get them to look up.

Cy-Fair here, Bonaire, Enchanted Valley (The Enchanted Ghetto). class of 97-99ish.. it's a blur.

and this is also why I support lane splitting in slow moving traffic. Most don't even realize they've been split until they look up from their phone and see you've already passed....and then they honk like you give a .

Be careful when you do something like that. She could have gotten and bump you on purpose for hitting her car. I think it's best to just move over a lane or slow down a little.
But then again she might have learned her lesson this time lol who knows

Women do not have a monopoly on cellphone intoxication. Last few ones I came across were all dickheads, literally... only exception was a lady that cut into my lane on a left turn.

Yeah, don't go apechit. Doesn't help anybody, including yourself. Get yourself out of the situation ASAP and be glad you made it out still rolling on 2. That girl probably drove off thinking WTF... that biker jerk got in my way and had to galls to kick my door!

Lol thanks for the kind words guys, like I said, I didnt do it to teach her a lesson, I did it because it was literally the only way to get her attention. I should've left myself an out, and this time I did not. Lesson Learned.

290 was pretty up this morning. I always get nervous when I'm in the diamond lane leading to the HOV. You have to haul next to the barely moving cars in the other lane to keep up with traffic. I always stay to the left side of my lane with both brakes covered in that scenario.

I always actively make it a point to stay well out of peoples blind spot when traffic is moving. If it was moving very slow or not moving(leaving you no option to either speed up or slow down) and she was coming into your lane, I could see where you might have to do something like that to get their attention.

Tempered glass. Use a piece of broken spark plug or coffee mug porclein and shatters instantly.

I prefer to ride at a pace that is a bit faster than traffic. You might be seen as darting around traffic, but at least you are seen. Staying with traffic in the same lane and not "moving", you run the risk of disappearing in other's drivers peripheral vision. Even if I am stuck in traffic, I still find ways to move around a little, even if it is within my lane. Peripheral vision responses to motion, far more than shape, color, and brightness, and contrast.
